World Contact Day Video

World Contact Day was an event organised by the International Flying Saucer Bureau in March 15th 1953. Through the "Space Review" publication, the director and saucer enthusiast Albert Bender was urging members to meet at a predetermined place and time.

Albert wanted his comrade saucer believers to participate in a telepathic communication to stellar entities spanning all quadrants of the galaxy, "Calling occupants of interplanetary craft!" Albert Bender was also ready to reveal cosmic news about the flying saucer phenomenon, only he did'nt. Why? Because the Mysterious Men In Black appeared. Read my "Men In Black Mystery."

In this video Karen Carpenter has relayed earths spatial co-ordinates and greetings to clever aliens lifeforms capable of intergalactic spaceflight. The World Contact Day song is 30 years old, it might have reached alien observers by radio frequency waves from our Tv's.

In her pure voice, Karen sings "Calling occupants of interplanetary anti-adversary craft. We are your friends!" Along with 160 musicians this sci-fi video makes for a trully epic celebratory event in the space time continuum. If only Earth had a Star Cruiser, how my heart aches for that epic space flight, that'll take me to another world! Well I can dream can't I?

Live Long and Prosper Trekkers! Our mission: Seek out new life in Star Trek Space.

  1. Hey – since you’re a YouTuber, you might want to check this out… There’s a video company that’s recruiting
YouTubers and if they like your stuff, (and they should) they will actually pay you when your video gets a hit.
Here’s their link… It’s about time the people who make
the videos get some of the money instead of it all going to YouTube!

  2. In response to an alarming increase in people wearing tin foil hats, believed by some to disrupt human/alien telepathy, organizers in San Francisco will host a World Contact Day on March 15, 2010 by singing this Anthem at the base of Sutro Tower.
