I Met Leonard Nimoy.

In 1995, I got a chance to meet Leonard Nimoy aka "Spock". It was no small experience for me, let me tell you. He took time out to unite with the Trekkies and returned the Vulcan "Live Long and Prosper" salute for us which was a pretty awesome experience. The great vulcan himself signed my hardback copy of "I am Spock" right in front of me which I still treasure to this day.

Live Long and Prosper, trekkers and trekkies.

My first contact with Leonard Nimoy was in 1995 when I made a special effort to go see him during his "I Am Spock" book signing at an Easons bookstore. The place was ablaze with Trekkies and Trekkers everywhere. I wrote about our encounter 15 years later in "Star Trek Walk of Fame." What amazes me even now, is the pure joy and excitement everyone experienced because our hero "Mr Spock" came and we got to meet him.
