Uhuras with Attitude

Heres William Shatner aka Captain James Kirk of the starship USS Enterprise NCC 1701 battling off the babe advances of Nichele Nichols. Wait a minute, did I say babe? Sadly for the Communications Officer time hasn't stood still for her, has it?

Remember Plato's stepchildren in Star Trek The Original Series? Well, Kirk and Uhura embraced passionately for the first time ever with an inter-racial kiss on prime time television which aired on November 22, 1968. Of course kissing was all part of the script and hey, Uhura was a really hot babe on the starship Enterprise with a sweet body and a voice to melt hearts. At the time this "first kiss" was a very big deal for the United States and for Mr Shatner but the timeline has eventually caught up with the old rascal. Just look at that face.

"Don't push your luck Uhura, once was enough! Aghhh God please save me.... Wheres Scotty? Spock beam me out of here on the double!

It seems hard to believe that our heros were once all over each other judging by the way Jimbos firmly gripping Uhura at arms length! This could easily be a shot taken from Nightmare on Elmstreet during a battle with the evil spirits. Hehe. Shatman actually looks petrified. Tragically for Shatner the perks that came with the captain's job 45 years ago have taken a dramatic turn for the worst.. Maybe the timelord is having a panic attack or is it a flashback to happier times?

I thought it looked like Kirk was trying to force a kiss upon Uhura in the photo…

I hold my hands up. Maybe I deserve to be phasered Livingsword. Its beginning to look like I misread Kirk and Uhura's affections for each other.

Could it be a binary system?

;)

How fascinating. The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams or maybe Kirk and Uhura are using a trinitarian system?

LOL

Why not?

I believe in the Trinity!

The "Holy" Trinity is cool in my book and will live long and prosper.
