I am interested in knowing what you call a type of planet that is habitable by humans or humanoids. It's a "class ___" planet is the phrase I remember hearing with a letter from the alphabet in the blank, but I am at a loss as to what it is.
Class M planets are considered suitable for humanoid life or Colonization in Star Trek. Its why Spock or Scotty always runs a scan before beaming down a landing party. Surface water with a nitrogen rich atmosphere, oxygen and trace elements are usually abundant along with extensive vegetation, animal life, and sometimes occasional carbon based native humanoids.
