I Miss Leonard Nimoy

'Today, I "Today I don't feel like doing anything.' sung by Bruno Mars.

Heres to Leonard Nimoy who wrote in his book "I Am Spock -  I was overwhelmed by all the attention. Overwhelmed, flattered, excited and terrified." I refer to the phenomena known as Spockmania.

The guy with the ears "Mr Spock" was also a Grandfather, father, Actor, Author, Photographer, Director, Singer, Superhero and Friend to millions of trekkers and crazy fans right across the universe.

Did you know Mr Spock was also half Human?

It was sad when the Oscars showed all who had passed and it ended with Nimoy.

Spock was great. So sad on his passing. I love the new movies and how much the young one looked like the older.

Gone but definitely not forgotten. Gone, and missed. Gone and mourned.

I miss him, too. Such a marvelous legacy to leave behind, though: a life well lived.

Leonard Nimoy was such a multi-talented man. We saw him at the Escondido Civic Center years ago, narrating Jewish history and music performance.

Leonard Nimoy was one of Hollywoods best entertainers through and through who loved his work. In 2009 Leonard stunned trekkies by making Star Trek the World Premiere in Austin, Texas.

Where was this video when I featured Bruno Mars on my BOTB post a few months back? This would have worked perfectly. LOL
Thanks for sharing.

I can only imagine that his fame was a bit scary for him. Definitely a well known figure! :) I am sure he had people coming up to him all the time!

The Oscars tribute ending with Nimoy was like an acknowledgment that Spock impacted the culture at large the way he did Trek fans. Which was nice to see.
