QUINN AND REMMICK

Hi trekkers, its been my intention to write about Monsters during the A to Z challenge, or at the very least dig up some interesting news about them but its been difficult. But low and behold heres one, Quinn - he was an Admiral no less played brilliantly by Ward Costello. Apparently QUINN discovered a plot to take-over Starfleet Command in 2364.

So what happened? I hear you ask?  Well it turns out Quinn got his best man on the job, Inspector General Dexter REMMICK. Ahh haa but all is not what it seems. So now here we have someone checking the USS Enterprise NCC 1701-D inside out until something gives, which it does.... I highly recommend you watch these Star Trek TNG episodes "Coming of Age" and "Conspiracy"

In which Star Trek TNG episode does our unknown alien intelligence say "you don't understand.... We mean you no harm.... We seek peaceful co-existence!"

Phaser long and Prosper, trekkers and trekkies!

This is one the grossest episode and Rimmick says this to Picard and #1 while those creepy things crawl up his arm and he opens his mouth for the thing to go down his mouth...yechhh

I remember this episode. I still can't believe how gross this one was. It was kind of weird to see Picard phaser someone's head off. It doesn't seem like him. I am surprised they could not have made it look better when the creature crawled up his leg and arm. Was that the same technology they used in the King Kong film 50 years prior?

Remmick's gruesome death is one of those classic memories of my childhood where my imagination filled in the gaps my adult mind later discovered in the scene...
