Star Trek Discovery - Klingon Alien Lifeforms

Ready for adventure Jason Isaacs, Michelle Yeoh, Doug Jones, and Sonequa Martin-Green stroll down the corridor of Science vessel USS Discovery NCC 1031. Are we over dosing on Star Trek Discovery yet?  Our defenders, friends, and protectors of Earth are a long way from home!

Lorca: “You know what we need to do…”
Burnham: “We need to win.”
Lorca: “That’s the spirit.”

Star Trek Discovery Co-showrunner Aaron Harberts has affirmed that Star Trek Discoveries Klingons "aren't just the enemy." War isn't enough to quell the warring appetites of howling Klingon warriors from crying havoc in the universe! (STD season one establishes the Klingons)

What led Jason Isaacs as Captain Gabriel Lorca in this "menagerie," a chamber with his collected ancient weapons and relics. Is he trapped in a cage or testing the forcefield?

Captain Gabriel Lorca: The work we do is hard. It is not with out sacrifice. We are a long way from home. But I know it is sacrifice worth making.

So what gives? Mary Chieffo, who plays Klingon commander L’Rell, explains everything: Apparently, war with the Klingons?. An ancient Klingon house led by T’Kuvma (Chris Obi) will cause major intergalactic chaos which is right smack down Harry Mudd's neck of the woods.

CBS All Access airs Star Trek Discovery on 24th Sept, 2017. Expect the unexpected.

Who's going to make the next move in this face off with the Klingons? I guess friendly hailing frequencies are totally out of the question.

SAREK: …the Klingon Empire has been in disarray for generations… Great unifiers are few and far between, but they do come. Often such leaders will need a profound cause for their followers to rally around.

Remember who said "These are Klingons! They'll attack!"

Answer: Klingon  K'Ehleyr (Susie Plakson) starred in Star Trek TNG The Emissary/The Schizoid Man/Reunion/. She was brilliant.

Is Star Trek Discovery re-creating Klingon synergy based on Dorns and Plakson's characters, K'Ehleyr and Worf seen seated here?

K'Ehleyr telling Worf
"THESE ARE KLINGONS, THEY'LL ATTACK!"
Burnam to T'Kuvma: We strive towards this dream of peace where all species can share common ground. Yet no dream will protect us from you.

QUESTION

Who changed Gene Roddenberry's mind from not having a Klingon on the bridge of Captain Picard's USS Enterprise NCC 1701-D?

Hmmm. I'm not sure what to make of the new series, or the new Klingon design. As of right now, it's confusing.

I like the Next Gen Klingon much better. Of course, won't be able to see the new series anyway.

Klingons have never been fully consistent throughout Star Trek's 51 year history. Either way these are warriors, ready, lock and loaded, for whatever comes their way. Get ready to tune in for the action and check out T'Kuvma's hands, crikey - Monsters!!! aghhhhhhhh

So this is the next generation of Klingons? I thought they'd evolve into more agreeable looking characters (very subject opinion), but it seems they've gone in just the opposite direction.

It's hard to figure the modus operandi of Klingons because they're such a mysterious race. Klingons do not take prisoners and prefer to die fighting on their feet. So I guess over the generations war has left a lasting impression on the faces of many CLMkenzie

So excited... Can't wait!

Ah, Klingons... Perhaps their war-like tendencies can be transcended? Nah.

Exactly, what about Klingon General Chang? "Warrior to Warrior - Oh come now Captain, You do prefer it this way. No peace in our time!"

Well they certainly succeeded in creating a new look for the Klingons. They've changed a lot over the years but this is one of the most radical changes. Nice trivia questions too!
