You may want to edit some of those actor/director credits.

Um, Apollo 13? Really? That wasn't fiction...

Interesting list. As with all lists, it tells a lot about those who made it. I wouldn't worry too much about the Star Trek/Star Wars feud. I don't really think there should be a feud.

Ok I would never have The Matrix in the top 10 and Avatar might be 100 but blecchhhh. The Day The Earth Stood Still would be in my top 5 and War of the Worlds would be in my top10. Metropolis would be in my top 10 as well and Space Odyssey also or maybe the top 15. Glad to see Dark City on your list. I am not sure if The Birds should be here as I think it leans more towards horror. I love AI and would place that in the top 20 along with First Contact...Star Trek that is. This is a great list and I bet you changed it up many times

List, schmist. It says nothing about the movies and everything about how they were selected.
Enjoy them for themselves.

No way the first Star Trek movie is above First Contact or the Voyage Home!
For the most part, the list is good.

These kind of lists are so much fun to write and read. I'd put 1978 Superman in the top 25 myself, but I can't argue with your number one pick. I like how you even included older movies like King Kong!

The Fifth Element is #13! I love that movie. She knows it's a multi-pass!

Tony, you spotted something but you got me! Heck, I'm reporting on Rankers Sci-Fi news which changes all the time.

Ah, Liz, yeah - I know Apollo 13 is a sciencey movie but I'm sure there's some fiction to spice up the adventure. I must get a thumbs up for getting it half right?

I got to laugh at the Birds myself Birgit and Avatar - haha. Lots of these movies are worth watching again. At least Star Trek is on the list more than once but sigh.... logic prevailed. Rankers community insist on Star Wars so "I cannot tell a lie" - Spock (Star Trek IV)

In our next "Sci-Fi List" EC, our next movie list will record your preference by counting your favorite for and against votes!

Haha - Well at least Star Trek movie didn't beat Star Trek The Wrath of Khan but next time, your voice will hail, hail fire and snow, Alex.

The lists fire up the imagination don't they Maurice? Superman/1978 missing eh? now thats just plain wrong. I have to make sure the caped crusader is included next time.

There's something here for everyone L.Diane. let's hope N013 is good luck but haha but hey its 20th anniversary was last July.
