Heres a funny moment from Star Trek TOS. Mr Spock while holding a tribble is fascinated. 'Most curious creature, Captain. It's trilling seems to have a tranquilizing effect on the human nervous system.'Captain Kirk glances at his Science Officer and chokes back a grin as the vulcan begins to pet it gently.
Spock realizes his blunder and rather suddenly puts the little creature down. 'Fortunately, of course, I am immune to it's effect.'

Been awhile since I watched that episode. I've seen the DS9 Tribbles episode more recently.
Trouble with Tribbles is crammed with amusing moments like this one.
Classic episode. My vote is with Alex. I think she laughed.
