Okay, so heres someone who recognises there can be honor in peace. Is he a visionary or a fool? Who can the Chancellor trust? He has to rely on his trusted aides during "dinner time" aboard the USS Enterprise NCC 1701-A and especially General Chang his chief of staff. So its really neat when two assassins in white Starfleet uniforms close in for the kill. Who are they? Who sent them?
Its fun watching the clueless Enterprise crew piece together the clues in this wonderfully dark sherlockian murder/mystery.
KIRK "We fired on the chancellors ship!"

It was Kim Cattral but I just felt sorry for Lieutenant Valeras. Even Uhura had a strange unyielding look on her face. Truth be told, Valeras didn't pull the trigger although she was part of the conspiracy.
Cartwright was played by Brock Peters, who also played Tom Robinson in To Kill a Mockingbird and Sisko's dad in Deep Space Nine. Valeris was created because Roddenberry didn't want to sully the name of Saavik, whom he considered to have reached "beloved character status." Cartwright wasn't so lucky. He wasn't nearly as villainous in The Voyage Home...

My favourite scene is when Checkov finds the foots they are searching for, but he doesn't notice the locker they were in, wouldn't have been able to wear them if he tried. LOL
From what I remember, the Vulcan traitor was supposed to be Saavik, but with two different actresses already having already played saavik and neither one available for the Undiscovered Country, the decision was to create a complete new female Vulcan traitor.
Civilised AND diplomatic? And a Klingom? I suspect an intruder.
Skippy will find out though. Very quickly. And diplomatically.
I really need to go back and watch all these shows. I don't remember this one at all.
Star Trek 6 is actually the first movie I can remember going to see in theaters when I was a kid.
One and three were the conspirators. I loved this movie--Iman as a shape shifter, very cool.
Not in a million years could I remember that. I'll have to come back Monday for the answer, I guess.
It's usually the chief of staff in things like this, but I haven't seen that movie. lol
He was one Klingon I wish would have been on longer because I love David Warner. Chang was a bad boy but so was that Vulcan sex and the city gal
