Star Trek Sci Fi Blog mourns Bill Paxton's death who passed away on Saturday. Comicbook.com explains his cause of death was "from a stroke after post-op complications," following heart surgery which the poor guy was worried about. He was only 61.
Apparently Bill emailed Director Doug Liman (Edge of Tomorrow) with the message,
"Thanks for the good wishes. It will help me face this ordeal"
RIP Bill Paxton.

The last thing I saw him in was the Texas Rising mini-series. He'll be missed.
Oh my.....that is sad when one reads what he wrote. I feel bad for his family
I got a notification Sunday morning while in church - totally shocking. And so sad.
I was so sad to hear of this.
This was sad to read yesterday. Did you see the tribute that storm chasers in Oklahoma gave him? He will be missed.
That's so sad! He was way too young!
I checked out the Oklahoma storm chaser GPS tribute guys and you know what? Approx 200 of them spelt out BP in real time on a map which went viral on Twitter. Thanks Elizabeth.
His passing is such a loss to all who appreciated his talent.
Conan told a great story about what a nice guy he was. So sad.
Sad loss and so young. Another thing to put my own mortality into perspective.
