This is in reference to one of the Short Treks, "Calypso," which to my mind was the best of the Short Treks. Highly recommended.
Of course logically there had to be a trekkie explanation which makes it worthwhile figuring these ones out, thanks Tony! cos like the rest of us were like, duh what? was that.... come again? (Sometimes I figure I've landed on Mars asking R2D2 or Darth Vader for directions back to Earth.... but you've saved trekspace yet again, lol.
