B4 WHERE NO ANDROID HAS GONE BEFORE

To B or not to B-4. Star Trek Nemesis is the big bang for B-4 brother Data. How did you react when Picard materialized on the bridge of the USS Enterprise NCC 1701-E only to watch Shinzon's Romulan predator bird of prey burst into flames. Why did Data deactivate his less advanced B-4 brother only for Picard to re-activate?

I like to think that Data's final act is what gave him the humanity he so dearly wished for... you have much to live up to, B-4. Live long and prosper, Spacer!

In my opinion, Nemesis could have been a great movie and not the death of the TNG franchise. Yes, the TNG crew was getting old and their characters needed to get their own lives and commands. But good writers could have figured out ways to bring them back together.

The B4 angle made no sense to me, nor did the contrived way the crew found him on that alien planet.
