WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE STAR TREK TOYS?

Hey Trekkers, Spacerguy here. During Star Treks 55 year history, fans love to get the latest variety of trek merchandise officially sanctioned by Paramount and CBS Studios. From TV and Movies, books, games, apps, uniforms to action figures - even at a Las Vegas attraction.

Companies will try everything under the asteroid van allen belt (minus - getting zapped by alien radiation, haha) to create new and different collectibles. So what your favorite sci-fi toy?

Remember these?   😧   😁

Did you get the newest, coolest trendiest Star Trek toys?

1. Thanks to Mattel, now we've got Uhura, Kirk and Spock and a limited edition Orion woman.

2. Star Trek cookbook written by Neelix - Ethan Philips

3. Marshmallow Dispenser - Spock used this toy in Star Trek V - made by Kraft

.

4. Star Trek Metal Detector (friendly forum) used to find lost phasers when scanners are malfunctioning.

5. USS Enterprise NCC 1701 Pizza Cutters. Future generations will debate on which starship cuts pizza best... the original or the Enterprise NCC 1701-D. Think Geek created these cutters in both starship styles.

Isn't she a beauty?

6. AMT Star Trek USS Enterprise with lights and Sound Effects. (I made one of these beauties and they still sell them on Amazon!!! These toys are decades old and in mint condition, lol)

Did you see Brent Spiner wrecking Sheldens Wesley Crusher doll on Big Bang? 😁

So which Star Trek toy is your favorite? .

Don't be shy, tell us how many trekkie toys you have.

If its not listed here tell us what it is.

What are your favorite Star Trek APPS?

Live Long and Prosper, my trekker friends

No trekkie toys for me. Or any other movie/show spin-offs. With one exception. I have a Paddington Bear.

My sister bought me one of those TOS pizza cutters for Christmas 2018 and I almost cut my hand off! They're not easy to work with, but sure are heavy duty--here's mine: https://apachedugs.blogspot.com/2018/12/stop-that-potus-before-he-wrecks-world.html

As for toys, I'm getting up there in years--my favorite was the 'Star Trek Phaser Gun' by Remco, put out around 1975-76. Weighed a ton (which made it feel legit) and had some great phaser sounds. SECOND favorite was from just a few years ago, a ST: Voyager model kit from Bandai. It came with a gazillion lights & wires, but the pieces were already painted with incredible detail. It took me 5-6 nights to put together, but years later and it sits on my bedroom bookcase still (and looks gorgeous at night)! Those Bandai kits go for hundreds of dollars now! Who knew??

We have a sushi set. The Enterprise lid comes off to hold the sauce and the jet streams are the chopsticks. It's really cute.

I remember those Barbies from back in the day when I worked at the evil toy store (now defunct). Never purchased any. I did buy an original Trek tricorder for a parent as they expressed desire to have one (can't recall which parent, now). But I don't actually own any Star Trek toys.

Sounds awesome Diane, your own personal enterprise sushi beam us dinner! food replicator (ahem, haha)

I actually don't have any and have been thinking I need some. Star Wars, yes. The family collection includes Marvel, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, a Transformer, D&D dice, LEGOs, Pez dispensers... but no Trek.

Oh, the troubles of geek.

I love that some things never seem to die. We've been watching TNG on Netflix.

I believe Marvels heroes and villains surpass Star Trek's in numbers when you include the Avengers - Squid 'cos like we talking hundreds of good and baddies but then again...

TNG is fun Donna keep watching and I'm not surprised Netflix reruns Star Trek. Its good and so likeable.

I have the USS Enterprise pizza cutter. The secondary hull is kind of an awkward handle, so I don't use it much. It's fun when I have guests, though.
